Let me tell you how it's been around here.</strong></p>\n<p>We had some trouble in town. Little things at first — the kind of thing a fella overlooks if he's got any manners. But I don't overlook. That's my sickness, I suppose. I notice things.</p>\n<p>**SHARING. **You'd hand the app something — a link, a picture, whatever you had on you — and it'd take it real polite, smile at you, and do nothing at all. Just stand there grinning like a hog in the sun. Well. Me and it had a talk. It shares now. Every time. You give it something, it takes it where it's going, and it don't come scratching at your door at midnight anymore. We understand each other now.</p>\n<p>**THEM YOUTUBE PICTURES. **Used to be you'd tap one and it'd run you clear across the county to watch it someplace else. Rude, is what that is. They play right here now, in your own hand, nice and neighborly. Tap the little triangle. Sit a spell.</p>\n<p>**NOTIFICATIONS. **Somebody'd poke you — say a fella took a shine to something you wrote — and you'd go to tap it and the app would just shrug and set you down wherever it pleased. Now it walks you straight to it. Right where you're supposed to be. I'm awful particular about folks being where they're supposed to be.</p>\n<p>**A NEW LITTLE ROW UP TOP. **Your Community feed's got a row now — people, groups, posts, all shuffled together like a fresh deck. Something to look over while you're deciding who to trust. (Nobody. But you'll come to that on your own.)</p>\n<p><strong>AND SOME HOUSEKEEPING.</strong> Your pinned circles stay put now, up top where you left them. Articles quit pestering you for a name — some things are better left unnamed. And a few other odds and ends I won't trouble you with. A man doesn't brag on sweeping his own porch.</p>\n<p>That's the news. Everything's real quiet now. Real peaceful.</p>\n<p>Funny thing about quiet, though.
